RE: EXTENSION OF DAYS FOR CAR HIRE
We have good news. Santam are doing certain changes to the policies. They have noticed that panelbeaters are battling a lot with receiving parts for vehicles and getting all the huge amounts of repairs done and claims are often taking much longer than previously.
They have now done a change to the Commercial policies whereby you can now choose if you wish to have 30 days, 45 days or 60 days car hire. Obviously there will be a small increase in the premium for longer days, but it is a good thing to have if there is a problem at the panelbeater.
For Personal policies you can choose 15, 30 or 60 days car hire.
Previously, if you have chosen car hire on your policy it would have been for the 30 days. It will stay for 30 days unless you wish to change it. Obviously if you did not chose car hire there won’t be car hire cover.
Let us know if you wish to amend the car hire days on your policy.
