RE: GEYSER CLAIMS
Attached hereto please find updated information regarding Geyser claims on your policy.
Please ensure that you register a Geyser Claim via the Santam SOS Line on: 0860 505 911.
Santam now have new regulations regarding geysers and if you have your geyser installed privately there will be limits to the payments made back to you, depending on the suppliers quotations that they contract in and will be calculated on a fair and reasonable market value.
Also, if you use your own plumber they now need a Compliance Certificate and Serial numbers of the old and new geysers.
On a commercial policy the geysers must now be noted separately. Please peruse the attached documents to see what the process entails.
